FloorWorks our (BenchWorks) flooring division, was launched in October 06. BenchWorks along with a key supplier, saw an opportunity to give you our customers, an extended service offer, including a great range of Engineered & Solid Wood flooring.

Why flooring, you might ask? We saw the opportunity, whilst producing bench tops of Award Winning standard for customers throughout the North Island. The synergies between kitchens and flooring were strong - especially within the Hub of the home. Often our end customers, were looking to complementary flooring for their kitchen / living areas, and with a range of Quality flooring targeting the middle-upper market, our flooring division was set up.

Options Available: With so much flooring product targeting the DIY market, we have gone for a “high quality” product range, with Engineered flooring applied in 2 ways. 1. Laid on a floating underlay 2.Glued down. The Solid Wood options in all cases is Glued down. A current product list is supplied below.

Benefits & Features: The Engineered flooring on offer,  is 14mm thick (very stable underfoot, on a floating underlay) and comes in a great variety of products. Our Engineered Flooring is in the mid-range – upper range so we can cater to the lower end of the market, while offering products of a higher value than the customary DIY products available. We also cater to those who want the very best in Engineered options.
Our Solid Wood options come in a fine range of wood choices ranging in thickness from 12-19mm and with a variety of widths from 83mm – 133mm (varies by wood choice)
